Challenge:

Based in Singapore, SpeQtral is a leading quantum communications technology firm, pioneering the development of space-based quantum systems and committed to globally distributing secure encryption keys. For these purpose, SpeQtral is looking for a reliable and cost-effective solution, that is flexible to accommodate diverse satellite missions and ground segments. Additionally, it is important that such a system can adapt to changing mission parameters and is easily scaleable.

Solution:

SAT.IO is providing its novel operating system SAT.os, which defines the backbone for the entire operational stack for all the operated assets (spacecrafts and ground stations).
On top of that, SAT.IO is hosting its in-house developed Command & Control application.

SpeQtral uses the solutions of SAT.IO for the realization of the required QKD constellation operations. SpeQtral is heading towards a complex mission with satellites from different vendors, which makes the realization of the ground segment and a scalable operations system very challenging. SAT.IO has it all covered and provide a solution that covers all of that.
